When And Where To File A Flight Delay Compensation?

If you are a frequent flier or even an infrequent one, you might have experienced flight delays at some point or the other.

And, if you have not, then you have been lucky. But the common claim of the fliers when a flight delay happens is that it leaves them stranded, irritated and sometimes quite seriously affected, monetarily or otherwise.

When we book a flight ticket, a lot of plan goes into the when and where and how of it. Although we keep a bracketed time, many times we fly internationally and have connecting flights to catch. At such times, a flight delay can adversely affect you in a myriad of ways!

What about all those hours spent in the crowded airport or worse, stranded in an unknown city? Or the problems you need to tackle with a toddler or two to handle?

Even if the airline staff has been helpful and has provided you food (which defiantly does not happen unless you are very lucky), you still have wasted both time and money! Such delays, therefore, have to be rightly compensated.

The flight delay compensations can be applied directly through the airlines. While you can try the online queries and forms for getting the right compensation, most of the airlines may not be quite receptive to your complaint. Calling their customer care desk might get you a bit of leeway if you are lucky.

Alternatively, you can also approach companies which deal with delay compensations claims. Instead of approaching the airlines directly, these companies have standard procedures which they can use to get your claim. Although it might not be as simple as it sounds, better than you to do all the paperwork to get through the clauses and rules that the airlines deliver at such times. After all, your delay has already happened – why lose the flight delay compensation too because you do not have time to pursue it?

Hire the best compensation company in place to help you get some of that valuable money you lost due to the delay.
